2018
Congratulations to the Inny Gaels U14s who won the Feile Peile na nOg Division 6 Shield at a sun baked St Marys GAA Grounds in Burren. The St. Brigids/Moylagh combination overcame Longstone from Co Down on a scoreline of 3-08 to 3-05 after a thrilling game where the two sides gave their all to try and bring the title back home to their respective communities.
This was Inny Gaels first time at a Feile competition and represented their adult Clubs St Brigids and Moylagh with great enthuasism and pride. They overcame Ballivor in their quarter-final on a scoreline of 2-13 to 3-09 after extratime in Kildalkey on Saturday afternoon and on Sunday morning they defeated Carndonagh from Co Donegal 3-07 to 2-05 to seal their place in the decider. They had hosted Patrick Sarsfields GAC from Co Antrim for the weekend and the two clubs had supported each other for their respective journeys throughout the Feile. Patrick Sarsfields were perfect guests and without doubt friendships were made on the weekend that will last a lifetime and will surely see the Inny Gaels crew make the odd trip to Belfast to catch up with their new friends.
