Who We Are

Welcome to the St Brigid’s GFC (Meath) website which has been designed to provide details to you of all our activities. We hope you find the information provided both useful and informative. If you want any further information do not hesitate to contact us or any other members of the committee.   Map of Club Location and Eircode can be found here  https://ballinacree.ie/contact/

St Brigid’s are a small club in a rural area in the north-west of Meath. It is based in the Ballinacree community and is unique in that this area is comprised of parts of three counties, Meath, Cavan and Westmeath and two provinces-Leinster and Ulster.

Ballinacree is a very progressive and supportive community and our club plays a significant part in the life of this community.

We have a fine playing pitch, dressing and club rooms, a training pitch and an all weather walking/ running track.

The club has an adult football team which plays at Junior level in the Meath championships. Our underage players represent the club as St Brigid’s Juveniles itself or in combination with Moylagh GFC as part of the Inny Gaels underage teams.

If you are new to the area or want to get involved you and your family are very welcome to join us at anytime- as a player on our adult or underage teams or to utilise our amenities such as the walking track. Indeed if you were in a position to do so you could provide assistance with coaching or other administrative tasks.  All help is welcome and appreciated.
